Dr. Jessie Seide

I am a dual certified Nurse Practitioner in Family and Psychiatric mental health. I graduated from SUNY Downstate Medical Center with a Master’s degree as Family Nurse Practitioner and obtained my Psychiatric Mental Health post graduate certificate from Wilkes University. Two years ago, I completed my Doctoral degree and gained the necessary skills and knowledge to ensure utmost level of care through quality improvement initiatives in healthcare.

I have worked in diverse settings over the years but more recently in outpatient family practice which allowed me to bring a holistic perspective to patient care. It is while working in family practice that I discovered my passion for working with patients who have behavioral health disorders. I am passionate about providing mental health care to marginalized patients. My goal is to bridge gaps and disparities that exist in healthcare and more specifically among patients with mental health disorders.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
