Tereash Celeste Davis Keitt, MA, LPC

Life can become overwhelming when anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, or life’s unexpected challenges begin to affect your peace of mind. Whether you’re feeling stuck, emotionally exhausted, constantly overthinking, or simply trying to make it through each day, you don’t have to face those struggles alone.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted—without judgment. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you can be yourself, process difficult experiences, and discover practical tools that help you move forward with confidence.

I work with adolescents (ages 12+) and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, grief and loss, stress, low self-esteem, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. Every client is unique, so I tailor treatment to meet your individual needs, strengths, and goals rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

My counseling style is warm, encouraging, collaborative, and down-to-earth. Clients often tell me they appreciate my ability to make them feel comfortable while also providing practical strategies they can begin using in everyday life. I believe meaningful change happens when clients not only feel supported but also leave each session with skills they can confidently apply outside of therapy.

My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), mindfulness-based interventions, psychoeducation, and strengths-based techniques. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful thought patterns, build effective coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen resilience, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent eight years as a certified public school teacher working with elementary and middle school students. That experience gave me a deep understanding of child and adolescent development, the impact of emotional and behavioral challenges on learning, and the importance of creating supportive relationships that foster growth and resilience. Since becoming a counselor, my professional experience has included outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, and telehealth counseling, allowing me to support clients with a wide range of mental
health concerns across different levels of care.

I believe every person possesses strengths that can serve as the foundation for healing and growth. My role is to help clients recognize those strengths, navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence, and develop practical tools that support long-term emotional well-being. Whether you’re seeking relief from anxiety, healing from difficult experiences, improving your relationships, or simply striving to become the healthiest version of yourself, I would be honored to support you on your journey.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. You simply have to be willing to take the first step—and together, we’ll take the next ones.
