Maria Cecilia Dulay
My name is Maria Cecilia Dulay. I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). I began my nursing career as a psychiatric nurse in an inpatient hospital. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with various mental health conditions that include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and other mental and behavioral health issues, as well as substance abuse. Helping people with medical and emotional problems made me realize this was my passion. I truly found my niche in psychiatric-mental health nursing, and I’m passionate about helping others and making a difference in their lives. I then decided to continue my education and received my Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatric Mental Health from Walden University. One of my psychiatric nurse practitioner training was conducted here at Prism Reflections.
My approach is to work with you to develop treatment interventions that are uniquely tailored to you, depending on your presenting problem. I provide individualized psychiatric evaluation interviews, order appropriate diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications if indicated. I also offer brief psychotherapy within the context of medication management, and if more extensive psychotherapy is necessary, I will connect you to a psychotherapist. I believe in developing an individualized care plan that values client involvement, interprofessional collaboration, and evidence-based practice.
I am delighted and excited to be part of Prism Reflections, LLC. I look forward to working with you.
